Shall the authority of Pittsfield Charter Township to levy a parks millage of up to one half mill ($.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) be renewed for 10 years from 2006 through 2015? The tax would provide funds for acquiring, developing and maintaining recreation facilities and parks. If the full amount of the tax were levied, it would raise an estimated $744,000 in the first year after approval.
