This proposal will direct the Lima Township board to amend Lima Township Ordinance No. 33 which currently prohibits commercial marihuana establishments in the Township. The proposed amendment would allow two of each establishment type as defined pursuant to the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA) of 2018, MCL 333.27951 et seq.

Shall Lima Township Ordinance No. 33 be amended to permit the following type and number of marihuana establishments in the Township:
two (2) Retailer,
two (2) Class C Grower,
two (2) Microbusiness,
two (2) Processor,
two (2) Safety Compliance Facility, and
two (2) Secure Transporter?
