Shall the limitation on the total amount of general ad valorem taxes which may be assessed in any one year upon real and tangible property in the Charter Township of Superior, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be increased, as provided by Section 6 of Article IX of the Constitution of Michigan, 1963, by 0.75 mills ($0.75 per $1,000.00 of the taxable value for a period of three (3) years, 2006 – 2008, inclusive, and shall the levy of such a tax be authorized for the purpose of providing additional revenue for police protection, which increase will raise in the first year of such levy an estimated $421,997.00.
