Shall the limitation on the total general ad valorem taxes which may be assessed in any one year upon real and tangible personal property in the Township of York, Washtenaw County, Michigan, as provided by Article IX, Section 6, of the Michigan Constitution, be increased by up to 0.50 mill ($0.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of five years, for the years 2006 through 2010, inclusive, and shall the levy of such a tax be authorized for the purpose of (1) providing funds to defend the Township against any litigation challenging the Township’s zoning regulations and growth management plan, including without limitation, the lawsuit brought by Brookside Acquisitions LLC et al against York Township, and (2) reviewing and updating the Township’s Growth Management Plan and Zoning Ordinance and shall the Township levy this millage increase for the purpose, thereby raising in the first year an estimated $176,000.00?
