Shall the previously authorized increase in tax limitation on all taxable property in the City of Milan, Counties of Washtenaw and Monroe, that expires in 2025 be renewed and the City be authorized to levy annually an amount not to exceed 0.2185 mill ($0.2185 per each $1,000 of taxable value) against all taxable property for a period of seven (7) years, 2026 through 2032, inclusive, for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and equipping the Milan Public Library or any other purpose authorized by law for library service? The estimate of the revenue the City will collect in the first year (2026) if the millage is approved and levied by the City is approximately $53,000. By law, revenue from this millage will be disbursed to the Milan Public Library.
