Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be imposed on taxable property within the Charter Township of Pittsfield, County of Washtenaw, Michigan, be increased in an amount not to exceed .6 mills ($.60 on each $1,000.00 of taxable value), for a period of 10 years, beginning with the 2026 Winter tax bill and ending with the 2035 Winter tax bill, inclusive, as a replacement of the current millage (.4697 mills due to Headlee rollback from .4855) which expires as of the 2025 Winter tax bill, to provide funds for operations, maintenance, acquisition and development of recreation facilities, parks, and pathways, and for natural area management including invasive species? It is estimated that .6 mills would raise approximately $1,674,077.00 when first levied in December 2026.
